Asthma Spacer -Compact Reusable 220ml
La Petite Spacer by Bird Healthcare Australia
Low-cost reusable so you can reject inferior and costly single use, disposable spacers. By implementing these quality compact reusable single-person use spacers, you can be assured of proper asthma response and planning in line with best practice for single-person use action plan policy.
This is a compact quality asthma inhaler spacer with dedicated one way valve and a bulk buy price at/near that of a disposable type. 220ml anti-static. Compact size only approx. 5.5cm x 15cm. Small enough to easily fit one or more in first aid kits, even yard duty belt bags for use at schools. Made of robust materials and easy to handle so it can be used confidently by the youngest, most inexperienced or those with special needs. We offer these proper sized, re-usable quality spacers so that they can be labelled and given to the user for re-use, thus establishing and supporting the single-person use asthma plan anyone with asthma must have in place. All units come in tamper evident packaging so you know if it has been opened. See our bulk 10 unit buy offer for a low price, comparable to disposable, single-use wasteful cardboard units sold by others elsewhere that may fail before a child can even establish effective rounds of inhales during a single attack. Save money and lives in the long run via these spaces which, unlike disposables, properly support single-person asthma action plans.

NOTE: Australian Asthma Foundation promotes single person use of spacers to minimize cross-infection. However, in an emergency, if a spacer is not available, administer the puffer anyway. It's always good practice to have a ready supply of alcohol swabs for cleaning/disinfecting the puffer and spacer before and after every use, even if it is believed the units are being used by the same person. Spacers and puffer outers should also be washed regularly in warm water with a mild disinfectant.
LOW COST ASTHMA SPACERS Reusable at a disposable price!
Don't waste your money on cost-ineffective disposable spacers which have to be thrown away after one use. Young children can have trouble using cardboard spacers before obtaining proper doses, such as clenching the opening with teeth, blowing the dose out through corner holes in cardboard spacers rather than in, and/or allowing moisture and re-tries to affect a throw-away cardboard spacer's total integrity. Promote true single-person use of proper asthma spacers, whilst also saving the planet, via these low-cost reusable spacers. We've brought the price down on reusable quality compact spacers so that you can label them with the child's name for next time, which could be minutes after the first dose proves ineffective, then on-supply to the child and parents so everyone becomes educated in establishing an asthma plan and a visual indicator to also consult their family doctor. This in turn promotes proper spacer education and also helps to implement the single-person use policy pro-actively. Using disposable spacers, such as flimsy cardboard spacers, do little more than attend to a problem once-off (if the person can actually use them as they are not like a spacer they may already have), then throwing money into the bin, without dealing with the core purpose of a single-person use policy and action plan.
